What do you teach in Tap dance classes?

As our dancers move up through the grades, they work through percussive rhythms and timing in increasing detail, learning to pick apart different melodies and time signatures with their feet. They then build a vocabulary of steps that lets them respond to more complex music as they progress.

Tap Dance Classes FAQs

  • Yes, absolutely! We offer taster classes for all our lessons. Please contact Ali and she can advise which grade to try.

  • If they decide to join a class after a taster lesson, then yes. We can get Tap shoes in for you through our shop and our teachers will advise on what type and style your child needs.
